  • 3 Rs - the animals, the planet is asking for help!

Hi bloggers and visitors. I was wondering about save the planet. What do we have to do? Starting recycling, reusing, reducing. The planet is asking for help. I thought about saving pull-tab cans, or light bulbs or pet bottles, and so on. How? Doing crafts, using woods fell on the forest instead of cut the trees, restore furniture, making purses from pull-tab cans, vases from light bulbs, boxes from pet bottles. Save water, This is only an idea.

  • Friends!

Hi everybody! Today is a busy day. I was thinking about friends. Real ones, not people who say lovely words but hurt you. Not people who smile but speak ill of you on your back. A loyal friend, a person who listen to you anytime, even when you are fool. Loyal and sincere friends are rare gems. Forgive the stupidity is the best thing because the return law is real. If a person spits on a fan, the spit will be on their faces, and, if you give love, you get love always!

    Best wishes,

    sandra :)

    CLOSE BY ME
    By Sandra Tiriba

I have been looking for you so long …
to talk about everything just for fun,
to answer my questions when I am lost,
to wipe my tears when I’m sad, and
to laugh with me when I’m happy.
    We would understand each other
Just at a glance, a thought, or a smile,
It takes too long to find a true friendship,
As though you were in a garden waiting for
A flower from a seed you have just planted!
Sometimes I hurt you on foolish things
And afterwards I ask you to forget them!
I’ve been looking for a friend
To clear my mind when I’m blind
    To tell me the truth
no one has the courage to say to me
But I’ve been so occupied looking for a friend
That I haven’t realized one was by my side
Trying to make me smile and
    Listening to my deepest secrets…
Sorry my friend if once more I hurt you!
Let us talk about it, please!

  • HUGE BLACKOUT in Santos, São Vicente, São Paulo ....

Hi bloggers and visitors! What was to be a commom night, it turned to be a dark night. Suddenly, the lights turned off but in the whole city. My daughter turned her cell phone radio and the reporters said that the blackout originated at Itaipu hydroelectric plant that straddles the border between Brazil and Paraguay, supplying both with much of energy needs. Itaipu provides more than 20 percent of Brazil's energy. Millions of people were affected by the blackout in six Brazilian states that included the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The capital, Brasilia, was unaffected.

My cell phone has flash light which provided light to walk, once it was a black night literally. The guards who were returned home had to come back to put order on the streets once the traffic lights extinguished, causing most motorists to nose carefully through intersections. There were many people coming back home from work, universities, schools, gyms, etc. Many people were stuck in the elavators like here. The hospitals have generator electric to supply energy shut down. The metro system in Sao Paulo and Rio suddenly halted, stranding many passengers between underground stations. A total caos! The lights only returned around 4 am.

We have to think about our planet quickly before being too late.

    big hug

  • Iron Sculptures

Hi bloggers, visitors and Cris!!! Cris is a Brazilian friend I had the happiness to find. I was looking for interesting pictures and bump into these wonderful works called Iron Sculpture of Cedrid  Borgne Geneva, Switzerland.  They seem alive. It reminds me the movie cocoon and alien people. Wonderful work. They float through the air, sit on a lake, and so on.

    Have a wonderful Wed.
