HOW TO BE GRACIOUS!

Jennifer's wedding day was fast approaching. Nothing could dampen her excitement -- not even her parent's nasty divorce. Her mother had found the PERFECT dress to wear and would be the best-dressed mother- of-the-bride ever!
A week later, Jennifer was horrified to learn that her father's new young wife had bought the exact same dress as her mother! Jennifer asked her father's new young wife to exchange it, but she refused.
'Absolutely not, I look like a million bucks in this dress, and I'm Wearing it,' she replied.
Jennifer told her mother who graciously said, 'Never mind sweetheart. I'll get another dress. After all, it's your special day.'
A few days later, they went shopping and did find another gorgeous dress.
When they stopped for lunch, Jennifer asked her mother, 'Aren't you going to return the other dress? You really don't have another occasion where you could wear it.
Her mother just smiled and replied, 'Of course I do, dear. I'm wearing it to the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.'

Good Morning folks! Today is cold and the sky is gray in Santos. These are pictures of our Brazilian actor called Dado Dolabella playing a monster and below it's him without disguising. Congratulations Dado, you are a great actor and singer. I put a picture of a fair or butterfly because I love butterflies and fairies. I love dragonflies, ladybugs.... Well, much work to be done. Our independence day is on September 7, my husband birthday too.

Hi bloggers, I'm knitting for relaxing! This will be a scarf later These are the pictures of my daughter's birthday. The sweeties on the table are "Brigadeiros (chocolate) " and "Beijinhos", which are Brazilian ones. Brigadeiro is a sweet made with condensed milk, a spoon of butter, and chocolate and Beijinho is made with condensed milk,a spoon of butter and coconut. I love beijinhos (little kisses in English) but my favorite is 'olho de sogra' or Mother-in-law's eye or Vanilla fudge with plum.

Noah and the bunnies

These little bunnies, about 6 days old, were attacked by a dog and orphaned. Two out of the litter of five did not survive, and these three were not doing very well.

Noah is a non-releasable, one-legged homing pigeon that we have here in rehab. Noah kept going over to the bunny cage and looking in...even sleeping in front of the door to the cage..

Then, 2 days ago, I only counted 2 bunnies in the cage, so I hurriedly picked Noah up from the front of the cage so I could look inside.. And to my surprise....there was the tiny bunny...under Noah's wing...sound asleep! The bunny had crawled through the cage....preferring a featherbed, no doubt..

Now, they are all together, and the bunnies are doing GREAT. When the bunnies scoot underneath Noah's feathers, he extends his wings out to surround them and they snuggle. When one of them moves and they start sticking out here and there, he gently pushes them back under him with his beak!!!!! This is amazing!!!

A father is a boy who grow up and turned a prince, then a king. The king of his hill. The king who fights everyday to give the best for his family. A king who becomes a grandfather who gives the best for his grandsons. A grandfather who becomes a grand-grandfather [...} My father passed out in 1986, but I'm sure he is here watching me.

Good Afternoon bloggers!  My computer is ok again! I went to a library last Saturday and my daughter took a picture! The other ones I got from my email. It is cold and rainy here, but yesterday the sun appeared. Did you see the moon on the sky? so beautiful! Have a wonderful weekend!
