Who is Pauê? Pauê is Paulo Eduardo Chieffi Aagaard, nicknamed Pauê by his maternal grandmother, liked sports when was a child. He is a biamputated thriathlet and surfer who attends many events and lectures telling his life experience and motivational themes.

Pauê was hit by a train crossing a railway in São Vicente – a city next to Santos – in 2000. He lost both legs, but this accident transformed his life by surpassing hurdles and limits.
Surfer since a child, he wanted to ride the waves again and he found on swimming and muscular exercise a means of accelerates the process of rehabilitation. No more than three months, not only restarted walking but also surfing through physiotherapy, determination and persistency and became the first and unique surfer in the world.
He is a thriathlet who won many contests, but he is a champion of life showing us how to face some tricks of life bravely. You are a winner Pauê!
