Tailor Mouse

Good Morning Everybody! After having been raining for weeks, finally, it is sunny today! But every place is wet: the streets, the trees, the flowers, etc.

I would like to have your opinion about children's games like hop-scotch, ring-around-the-rosy,and so on. What are the games children are used to playing there? What are the songs the teachers give for children? I like head shoulders leg shoes and Old duke of York.

Well, many class searching today! I'm so happy!

Thank you very much

Have a wonderful week

.:: Echo-location - Guide Dogs ::.

by huncamunca @ 2008-09-22 - 12:05:44

Good Morning from Santos, Brazil!

Hi bloggers! There is a person who really I'm a number one fan. That is Helen Keller who was a person that overwhelmed all the hurdles of her life and show us how to be a winner. She was the beginning of everything.

There are many things we have to do to easy the blind life as to allow guide dogs to be able to enter in every public places because they are the eyes of the blind.
What is echo-location? This is a technique that uses the sound to identify the objects by their echoes. The guide dogs also are their companion.
We are a fortunate people because we can see these pictures, but they can touch them and imagine and even know the collors by using the senses.
Sorry if I said something wrong, but I am just want to talk about it.

.:: Moela Lighthouse, Old Ghost Stories::.

by huncamunca @ 2008-09-01 - 19:13:20

Good Afternoon bloggers! Today is a wonderful day! The sky is clear, the birds fly happily, the insects work on the flowers, etc. I think the sea is beautiful, since I haven't been there yet. Which is a shame! But I watched on tv an interesting issue about a lighthouse near Santos called Moela Lighthouse. Moela is gizzard in English. Only two men live there...besides the dogs... They are from the Brazilian Navy. The Moela Lighthouse is about in front of Guaiuba beach, in Gurujá. Guarujé is across from Santos. The Moela Lighthous was inaugurated in 1830. Located about 2,5 Kilometers from the coast, in Guarujá. Its area is of 266,00 square meters. In early lamps were kept lit with whale oil and received special crystal lens made in London. According to a legend, during the night there are vultos of people (slaves) who worked in the construction of it and died there, being buried far from their people.
His visibility is 50 kilometers, its latitude (S) is 24º 63' and Longitude 46º 16' (W),and maximum altitude of 100 meters. The view is amazing!
